With Winter almost behind us, it's time to look forward to better weather and longer fishing days! To celebrate the upcoming spring/summer season, we want you to look back on last year's fishing season and post your favourite photos from your time on the water. Everyone who posts a photo will be entered in a draw for a pair of the new Scotty Downrigger Caddy, compliments of our good friends at Scotty. The photo can be of anything fishing related (fish, scenery, your boat, or maybe your favourite Scotty product ). Coho fishing off Bowen last June/July was a blast, here’s a pic of my first mate.

First minor prawning success in the Vancouver area. Felt good to set traps for the first time and actually catch a few prawns. More to come.

Final fishing day of the year - Dec 30th, 2025. Flat calm waters, full prawn traps, trying out the Peetz reel I had @PEETZcanada refurb for me. Alas, nothing of keeper size encountered that day but who's complaining?

Inlet run this June with pals. We try to get up to this beach at least once a year, always makes for a great day.

Many of us love to volunteer for a good cause. This great day combined fundraising for kids with cancer and Children's Hospital, as well as providing bags of bait for our fellow fishermen. This was the Steveston location.
