Scotty Exceeds Expectations A

So back in Sept I dropped my 1106 off at hq in Sidney for repairs. They called me the next day to pick it up. As I live in Vancouver, it took me a couple of months to get back to Sidney to pick it up. So when I finally get back to get it early Nov, they can't find it. They searched high and low no DR. I am expecting them to start saying you must have picked it up or start making it difficult. Not a chance, we apologize sir, here's a brand new one out of the box. No issue we apologize and here's a hat for your inconvenience. I got to say it was a good experience that could have been ugly and tense. How great to have a world class company like these guys in our province. Hats off guys. Thanks.

I love hearing stories like that. So far I've seen the same from scotty and a few others in the Northwest that supply us our fishing gear.

Cheers for the post mate

they are first class I had 1 counter go on my hp's and my wife called and they fedex me 2 without even registering my riggers yet. they are the best customer service and no hassle to deal with.... wish more companies were like them

Agree 100%, Scotty is awesome. Another local company is Ace Line Hauler. Much like Scotty they have provided me with excellent post sales service. I would highly recommend either company! Nice to see the local guys go that extra mile!

On the contrary I've had the opposite experience with ace. I have a modified ace line hauler now because my motor burned out and when I called to ask about warranty my time was up and they offered to selllme a motor for 195 usd. Terrible customer service imo

Not sure what you were expecting. Ace doesn't offer a lifetime warranty on their units. If you're unit was out of warranty, you're going to pay to fix it. Kind of like anything else you buy that has a time limited warranty.

I guess I've been lucky with ACE, so far any issues I've had have been handled promptly. Haven't burned out a motor or anything that major though.

Hey Bruce, what I expected was as a Canadian dealing with a Canadian company that I would be quoted a price in Canadian dollars. Only makes sense, no? Anyways I went with a different motor.

Yep, that would make sense. Tough to understand.

X2 on that, Ace was great to me and Scotty has been too.
