I'm bringing my son down from Kelowna this weekend to a basketball camp. Is it worth it for me to trailer my boat and try some fishing by either Sandheads or the QA? How has it been? Is there a boat launch out by the airport anymore? I grew up in Richmond, but haven't been out to Sea Island for years. Thanks for any pointers.

Its been spotty for a couple weeks around ere. We are all thinking of moving to the Island. That could change tomorrow. Yes, Macdonald Beach is still open along the North Arm, (North side of el aeroporto).

Thanks, maybe I'll bring the little car, save gas and spend the savings at Nikka. Looking forward to a trip to Nootka in early August.
