Samsung galaxy 10.1 - navionics

I know there was lots of discussion over Ipads and navionics.
Conclusion was top model ipads have built in gps and navionics works well with wifi and out of range.

Anyone using Samsung Galaxy 10.1?
Seems it has radio gps and should work the same. Alot less $

If you don't get any input from a Galaxy owner, let me give you some feedback on the Android side. I have an Asus tablet and a Galaxy SIII smartphone. I use a free app called Marine Navigator Lite with charts from my old Nobeltec days on both devices to back up my chartplotter. The GPS lock on both devices is excellent. I would think the Galaxy tab will give you an equal experience with Navionics.
