I was wondering what the up to date numbers were for the springs/chinook and coho at the Robertson Creek hatchery.
Does anyone know where to look up these stats or do you have to know someone in the loop? Also how about the returns at the Qualicum Hatchery?

So I take that means the DFO won't have to remove the shoes this time to do the calculations for the returns 4 years from now?

goldstream hatchery to date [1000 coho] 9 chinooks lowbecause of poaching at trapsite[4000 chum]lowest in out history for chums? mt doug creek few chum showed up ,good news, colquitz creek ,[166 jacks,about 50 adults ,average year,craigflower creek only 25 ,hopeful for average run of 250? sooke very few chinook back to sooke hatchery ,fair numbers of coho showing up .bright spot is port renfrew [have 1 million chinook eggs ] very good coho [bigger then normal showing up] nitinat lower then normal chinnook returns [enough eggs for esquimalt release ,also sooke net pens.they dont do coho eggs there.they only got 10 % of their chum returns,back normally they take 40 million eggs there,chums returns coast wide are way down .another brite spot is shawnigan creek had over 900 coho ,hands on over the falls on the way to the lake,chemainus /nanaimo /cowichian was about 1200 adult chinook ,plus similar numbers jacks.that all i have as of goldstream hatchery meeting last nite ! re gary [esquimalt anglers ]

Thats purdy good for the ho's.... Too bad about the springs. Wonder if the chum will be like a 09 sockeye return?
