For the curious.
Caught in the middle of the flood,
live bait cut plugged on the down rigger 48' deep
with 2106 sage Rod and MR3 reel
1 hour fight with a never attempted before, on this size a fish, net job.
with buck fever kicking in at first site of the fish in the water.
Weighed in at Eagle Pointe Lodge scale
LOL and pops for the rest of the day followed with a hang over.

Hey Fog Ducker, you're a little slow in reporting that (as I'm) as I heard about that the end of June or the first couple of days of July from a guide that works at Moutcha Bay Resort that use to work up at Eagle Pointe lodge, when we were at Moutcha. But it sure gets the heart thumping

Hey Fog
The Manager at Moutcha is my fishing and hunting partner for many years and heard about my fish the same day.
I just got back from my Rupert trip couple days ago.
Next time I see you at the rink I will bring some more pictures, still have to down load.
I will be up in Nootka at the end of the month
