Rst reels

Just got a RST mooching reel for a gift. Anybody got any experience or comments with them? Thanks in advance.

I just heard of these reels the other day.....whether or not you get any feeback; please post up some info once you've had a chance to use the reel.

Lifetime warranty, 3 sets of sealed bearings, smooth as silk, no line creep, drown in salt water for a week or so and start fishing right away, Big drag knob (no knuckle bustin) on backside of reel. I want one!

Any feedback on these ?
I have noticed a couple things.... "clicker" on incoming (reeling in) is louder than outgoing (where you want to hear it scream).... msrp of $799, and the LH/RH switch is PLASTIC ?
Take one apart, and you will find other bits of PLASTIC inside.... and although very small, can feel a bit of slop in the fit of the spool to the reel housing. Huge line capacity (350yds + of 25lb) a plus.... but the cleareances are such that it is possible for 25lb maxima to get caught between the spool and main housing.
Interested on others thaughts, the "sound" issue is a big one for me, with the plastic switch a close second. But DAMN they are nice to look at ! (looking at one right now, hanging under a new Technium, awaiting first blood)

Well been using the new reel for about a month now with no complaints, the drag is great you can adjust it with one finger. its very smooth. It is a lot quieter than my other reels but maybe thats a good thing, perhaps those pesky seals won't hear it now.... I haven't caught anything big yet high teens only but so far so good.

I was kind of curious about the retrieval rate being that it has a smaller arbour than the MR3...Let us know if you get one that peels out lots of line and how fast it gets it back in compared to the larger arbour MR3 or 4000GT's...

Can any of you give a more recent update on these reels. I used one recently and thought it had the best drag system of any reel I have used bar none.
Thanks
