Does anybody have any experience with these pullers? I know that they are no longer in business. But did they work OK? There is very little online about them

There was a part on them that broke down quite quickly and since he's Long Gone from the business was very difficult to replace.

There was a post here by someone with a machinist background who fabricated said part out of a hockey puck and AFAIK lived Happily Ever After however YMMV.

Don't know anything about them but as far as I've heard Brutus pullers are the only way to go. A local retailer told me they used to bring in a kinds of pullers then stopped because all the other brands were breaking down and being returned. They only stock Brutus pullers now I think Scotty may have made it through the door.

It is a decent sport pot puller. Works great on small boats. But will not replace a hydraulic commercial puller, or even an Electra-dyne. But for $500 can not be beat for what we do. And great service from what I hear. My Brutus works great. Could be faster.
