planning a trip up the rivers and hakai the second week of august, don't care about limits just want a shot at a hog or two, I'm drawn to fish the old ground my great grandpa used to fish, looking forward to the adventure, weather permitting, if we have bad weather that week I'll have to pull the plug on that trip until next year, but got to check this area out.

I'm heading up past Haki on the 29th for 5 days of hard core fishing, I will report when I get back on how the trip went. This Will be the 7th year in a row heading up with my dad hunting giants in the first week of August and we have had great fishing. Amazing area, you will have a blast either way.

good luck up there, I'm bringing my Dad up there with me too, we're planning on staying in hardy the 9th running up the morning of the 10th, got a few other friends we're all running up there together, your bro wouldn't happen to be in town around then? let you know when we're up there would be good to have a beer.
