Well I have offered Holmes to show off his goods at Kitty Coleman Park or near by. I have offered the first $100 towards this.

He has okay'd this...

And already there has been a Canuck Challange as well as a Wing Cook stepping up. Maybe there is a Duck Cook around.

Bring it on....Ribs,Wings and Bevy's....What else would we need..Besides topless servers.

110 would be easy to get with a gen.

If you want to go with out your shirt thats fine we will not look or throw our bones at your hairy chest. But I would think the rest of us will leave ours on. This is not that kind of event. We are not into man boobs.

A cook off sounds good I like your Ribs Holmes brought my kids to Critter late last Aug just to try em out Im a cook also like doing up Hot Suicide Wings and Ribs but Ill have to come up with something else maybe Chili??

Bring some ribs and wings... put Holmes on his A game. Challange him. Maybe we have other rib and wing cooks out there.

Any one have a account we can use to order a pile of ribs and wings or should one of us hit Costco? I know they have the best back ribs on the island. Tons of meat on every bone.

Once upon a time I had a account for 50# boxs of wings from a poultry factory.
 
I can recall you saying that" sysco/north douglas has the premade crabcakes and that your ribs are deffinately unique, as for anything starting with a quality product is key, they certainly arent the cheapest racks around...holmes*"

I know Costco has a case lot price on back ribs.

Pretty hard to beat that chitsco butcher block stuff though..... man now I am going to have order up a angus rib eye.....

Lets get this on fire. Cam send me a PM with the dates that work for you, we will put this in to play and make it happen.

With a date in play every other cook that wants to step up will have the time to step up.

Lets set a date and a time. If it so happens to be at Kitty maybe there will be a date/tide that works so that some get a short fish in.
 
There you go. We'll plan a ribfest at the longhouse at Kitty rain or shine.
If it looks good on the water a spontaneous fishing fix could accidentaly happen.
Just plan the feast around some high water.
my 2c is that every other cook knows or has heard that holmes ribs are right up there.
Holmes could be in charge of the ribs and whoever else could bring whatever else.
I will buy some chicken if CS would craft up some of his his tandoori goodness.
Who's bringing the chili?
 
This stuff sounds more gooder than the south Isle.... you guys are jerks...

There should probably be another one....... mid Aug. I don't wanna drag the wessle up and would like to do some nice beach walks in the sunset and bend the flea sticks :rolleyes:

If say there was another one....and say someone wanted to step up with some wings..... I could knock off some squidamaris

I have a genny with fuel, 6750 running and 8500 peak. Should power up anything.
 
Where is this going? Seems there can be power, meat and more meat, fishing and drinks.

When are we going to do this...... Holmes any dates working for you?
 
BUMP...Because we are talking about ribs here.

I recall Holmes saying March and some thing about Sundays. March is only 26 days away.
