Renfrew October 1st coho derby--who's going?

We're going to try and catch some of those 24 lb coho next weekend. Hopefully the derby is going again. Last year it was $25 a rod, winner take all out of the marina. Let's hope they're doing it again.

According to their website, they will be holding the derby again this year. We are in the planning stages now and definately looking at being there.

called today they told me they are not sure if the derby is still on due to weather. The guy told me to call up late friday to see if it is on or not .Just thought I would let you know.Think I will head up to browns bay instead.

Word it rained like hell.
The river was was given 'er and there was some dock damage. No boats damaged.
I did not get all the scoop.

We're planning a trip for Monday weather permitting.

The outlook for Saturday is light to moderate. I'll be there--we're staying at Gallagher's and fishing in a 17 1/2 foot Double Eagle with a blue top.My brother is out from Calgary so look for a goofy looking bugger with Flames cap on.

Yote and I are still planning to head for Renfrew Sunday night to fish Monday.

Any reports of fishing, weather and river conditions for getting in and out would be appreciated.
