Good time as usual but the fishing was slow and alot of smaller then average fish as well. We managed a dozen or so Sat. and only six Sun. compared to 30 - 40 fish each day last year.
It was memorable however as the winner of almost 14 grand was 20.7 lbs. and we weighed a 22.12 on Friday....ouch!!!
i buddy of mine is a little jelous of my grady, so today he said hes getting an orca, and so i said so..my gradys still better and he said that this weekend in the tourny 3 boats sunk and they were all grady's. But he was being serious. Is he a hell of a lot more full of bs than i think? or did some boats go down? thanks!
To fish or not to fish,
What a stupid question!
Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day, teach a man to fish, and he will sit on a boat drinking beer for a life time

I think he's pulling your Grady. I didn't hear of any one in trouble. There was a big coast guard boat standing by in the bay most of the weekend but I didn't see anyone in distress.
T2
noboats sank during the derby. But one grady was on it's way down on thurs at the marina during the big rain.Rex and a couple others had it pumped just in time,so i'm sure thats where the rumers started.
