Are there any charters in Renny for five? All the boats seem to be for 4 guys. I'm doing some planning for next year to hit Swiftsure.

Most aim for 4, but will stretch to 5. Sometimes this is a limitation to what the boat can legally hold, but mostly I think it's just not optimal ... less fun because the timing is more spread out (taking turns on hits) and also more work for the guide, if the goal is to attempt to catch a limit vs a set number of hours on the water.
When Swiftsure is hot, it makes little difference, as the action is very steady. But on a slower day, let's say where there's only a hit every once a while, with 5 guys it can be a long time until you touch a rod again. Been there, done that ... play your fish, then go have a nap for a while. ;-)

Totally understand why you would want 5 guys but it usually sucks for the guide, especially if they want to fish for a limit. Had a few this summer and wouldn't want to try it again.

It's a case of having 5 guys and probably not wanting to charter two boats for five guys. I'm simply investigating the options to discuss with my buddies. We did five in a boat in Alaska. I know it's not ideal.

On the proper charter with the right guide It could be an awesome day with 5! I know from my stag fish weekend in Renfrew, It's not about filling the freezer ( which we kinda did and had sweet chilli thai halibits appy's for 150 at the wedding), but .... it's about the day on the water with the boys and the drinks and time after at the camp or cabin.
