Reneting prawn traps

Goodday Fokes.
I got 4 new small mesh prawn traps 2 years ago and love them deary. last winter i stored them outside under a tarp,like a dam fool,and soom small roadent made them there home for the next 3 seasons.To my sadness they ruined the mesh. Is it hard to recover traps,if so does anyone know of anyone on the Sunshine Coast that does traps.
