Removing Green build up off hull without damaging your bottom paint

Anyone got a safe process they use to clean minor green buildup off the hull without damaging bottom pain? I don’t wanna use to much pressure/pressure washer because I’ve heard you can blow off bottom paint. My paint is perfect and don’t want to have to redo it. Do harsh chemicals like bleach/Lysol et Al remove bottom paint? Should I just use soap and a brush? The boat has Micron CSC on it. Any tips are appreciated.

Its ablative by nature and I'm not aware of any way to clean it off without also removing the paint itself. Maybe check the msds for micron csc?

You can always do a brokers line and refinish the bottom paint thats visible on your next haul out. Provided the paint still has service life in it of course.

I pull my boat a few times a year and am usually too busy to get to pressure washing. Once the algae dries it comes off easy with my pressure washer and have not had any bottom paint come off

I might have been overthinking this. The scum was mostly on the 4 inches from the water line and below. I used soap water and a soft brush and sponge. It came right off after it was soaked for 5 minutes.

So bleach won’t remove micron csc? Do you spray it all over the hull let it sit, then brush/hose off?
i do a 50/50 mix of bleach to water wait till it goes brown then power wash of never seen the bottom paint come off at all . ever notice when you use bottom paint it sticks to everything especially me LOL
