Everyone has to keep in mind that there has been way more radiation (much of it Plutonium) released into the water and atmosphere in the recent past. During the cold war the US and Russia exploded numerous A-bombs both above and below ground. Bimini was wiped off the map and Nevada was nuked repeatedly. Haven't heard of anyone having problems with sickness in Reno or las Vegas. While still a very serious problem, it has to be kept in perspective. Especially when we are 5000 miles away.
