questions about and looking for a kicker

I'm a new boat owner and just got an used Campion 542 with 150hp main. Looking for a kicker. Boat comes with a generic kicker bracket that can be lowered. Seems like everyone has a 8 or 9.9 hp kicker. Is electric tilt recommended and why? Is tiller handle good enough? And for tiller handle, is it smart to tie it to the main to steer at the helm? Thanks

Just replaced my Yam 8 HT today with a 9.9 High Thrust Yam. Paid less for it than the 8HP I bought 13 years ago. Go power lift, remote start, no tiller and Sea Star cable tie bar between kicker and main. Why? Bending over the back of your boat to start it lift it or connect a tie bar is dangerous. Start steer and lift from your helm. It’s effortless.
