Prop repair

Anyone have experience with having damaged stainless prop repaired?
Caught blade tips, 3 blade, no vibration.
Concerned that repaired prop not done properly would cause more frustration. Thinking it might be better off replacing with new.
Repair or replace?

Replace. Have the damaged ones repaired and kept onboard as spares. A reputable shop should be able to repair properly. Check out Osborne Propellers in Langley.

I had damage stainless duoprops repaired out of Vector Marine in Sidney -- 100 hours of satisfactory performance since. There was a vibration before repair, and none after. Price was very reasonable.

Had a four blade stainless with minor damage repaired by precision propeller. You can drop off at various marine dealers around the lower mainland and they'll pick up. Bought the prop used with a few dings and it had a vibration at certain rpms. The vibration was 90% better after the repair but not perfect. They charged $125 and it was done in a week. I'm keeping it as a spare for now.

How bad, any picture? bent or chipped needing weld?

Folded blade tips approx 1” didn’t damaged hub at all.

That will need a tune, Vic prop Nanaimo I guess could... give it a harder cup while at it. Maybe New prop as others say and keep as spare.
