largerst salmon,,1st place 40 pounds 2 oz 2nd 36 pounds 3rd place 34 pounds and 4th place 33 pounds,,,,some monster halibut were also caught,,1st place was 176 pounds 2nd place 131 pounds 3rd 115 pounds,,,all weigths were after dressing

Sounds great! I will be there in a couple of weeks or so and really looking forward to hooking some of them big ones. Did you participate in the derby?

i missed the derby,,was in the midst of getting a larger swimgrid built,,i was out on monday,,weather was awesome,,,was some good halibut and salmon fishing

You must be one of the lucky local fisherman! Keep me posted as to what is working and where so that I don't need to waste 90% of my only trip there once a year, finding the fish and what to use. It would be nice to have some local info.
