Ive used them all, and while they produce i just picked up a couple of the square box vinyl coated ones, so far they have outfished every other trap i have consistently.. Going to pick up 2 more and those will be the only ones i use from now on..

the 24" square Bauer prawn trap is said to be the best producing trap in the pacific northwest, i have one and am going to get another for my string haven't tried em yet but was told they work the best because the opening for the prawns start right at the bottom of the trap unlike most that start a little ways up from the bottom or even in the middle of the trap.
If space is a concern (isn't it always?), then try the stainless collapsing ones made in Nanaimo, they work very well and fold flat.
I have used them for over 10 years, and they are also durable.
Smiley.
I have two of the round stackables that always produce. I also have a brand new swedish style square one that has yielded 0 prawns in my 3-4 attempts and has landed itself in the penalty box (storage locker) until further notice. I prefer the round ones.
