For all the Vancouver guys, where are you guys getting your prawn pellets from for a good price? I tried EWOS in surrey and they aren't making pellets any longer. Trying to buy a bulk bag like 50lbs or more

Pretty sure Pacific Net and Twine in Steveston carries the ~50lb bags.

Last time I was in PNT (Richmond) they had numerous sizes of prawn pellets.

Walk in the front door - walk forward 10 feet - look down. This is where I saw them.

From my experience they have competitive pricing.

Hope that helps!

Cool Beans. I always walk out of there with waay more than I was planning on buying. Murphys Law, I was in steveston on the weekend...

There you go - heads out to that area in Richmond and buy from whoever treats you best or whoever sells cheapest...

That is for the individual to decide :)

SteelyDan - I too have this problem....not sure if it's a blessing or a curse.

I usually buy mine from sharecare here onThe island not sure if you have one close to you have a look

Yea I read about the share Kare pellets. Guys were saying there nice and oily. No share Kare on the mainland though.

Jlewis- what brand of pellets are you getting from them?

Honestly I can't remember I bought the bag last prawning season so I'll have to check the next time I'm in there if I have time I'll stop in there today and report back

PNT steveston has taplow brand

Just a fyi for the local mainland guys. There is a Bosley's pet foods in Cloverdale on 176th and 64th behind the BP and they stock cans of the Carsyle just tuna. I just cleaned them out but she says to order a case give her a call before tuesdays and they will have it on the Thursday.

I deal with these folks and Last bought 2 large sacks just over a year ago since the fleet I was in prawned in volume. No need to add oil or otherwise. Excellent product at a good price (at least the price I paid was awesome)

The clean secret of prawning. Carlyle. No mess. stores easy. Fills the trap. $14 for 24 cans. Poke some holes and let er rip.

Right on. I already opened up an account. I promised somone I wouldn't spill the beans but FM hit it on the head. Im going to fish the shretting pellets vs carslyle and see what happends. Might even mix it

I just cleaned out Bosley's on Lonsdale in North Van, but it seems that most locations carry it.

$0.65 per can.
