Port Moody to West Van

Hello All,

I'm taking the family out tomorrow and launching out of Rocky point, going to west van and spending a couple of a couple hours fishing for hoes (Weather Depending) then going back and up Indian arm for a cruise. I've never been up Indian arm, is anything look out for / things to do?

Thanks!

Visit the falls at the end of the Arm. Great fun and it has a nice open area for a picnic. if you are into crabbing, Indian Arm used to be good, but I haven't tried myself in a few years. I used to drop them down 100' on sandy bottom.

Falls at the North East end of the arm are Granite falls and has a small dock for landing in boats under 24'. There is also Silver falls on the West side of the arm about a mile North of the narrows. The falls will be a trickle this time of the year and probably warm enough to stand under. This falls can be really spectacular in the spring when the run off is flowing. Same with Granite falls.

here is a short video I shot in March of this year. You will see that I have cranked up the horsepower on this boat. In the first shot I am doing approximately 600 m.p.h. ;-)
