Just finished reading the trip. Really enjoyed it. Having fished Winter Harbour for the past 6 years I can

I checked a guy a few years ago that was camping below Telegraph Cove and he was doing the fast to circumnavigate the island speed race. He was the record holder, then some guy beat him, so he had to do it again to try and set the new record. Looks like he had it for a while.

Lots of Kayakers out and about now, on both sides of the Island. I took some picts of these crazy ones coming back into Hardy when I was up there fishing a couple weeks ago; a couple ladies who decided to paddle through the 50 odd boat fleet who were stuck behind Duval fishing and waiting for the wind to die.
