First time to North Van

Hi folks- Contemplating a trip with the family to N Vancouver later this summer.

Port Hardy, Coal Harbour, Winter Harbour or the vacinity.

Any suggestions on places to stay, camp or cabin, when to go?

Thinking a week in late July or early August.

I'd have my wife and 2 yo along with a couple pups. I'd be bringing a 23' boat as well.
