Any suggestions from you Port Hardy regulars for an inexpensive place to stay for one night? I will be in Port Hardy in August with two friends (and a boat) but need a place to stay for one night before heading up to Duval Point lodge for the week. Thanks for any information.

x2 real nice places too. Real good fishing today...only went for half a day and came back with limits of bottomfish, and some nice Chinook 20-26lbs

I couldn't tell if it was a cable, lever, or gear?
Shifting hard and not engaging in forward gear right, only when cold? Reverse is fine?
It's been a while since I had it out of the water, so I needed to pull it anyway!

got back from Hardy with some fishys in the cooler, had a good trip two days of fishing calm seas, some scatchy fishing but we managed to find a few, I got a couple 34's and a 23

Our hali gear got stipped by a couple dolphins that showed up right after we dropped the gear they went from the surface to 300 feet in about a minute and the lines just started screaming snip, snip and back to salmon fishing we went, got a couple flatties on the troll but that's the only thing that went wrong.
