Hi folks,Going to make my first trip to the area.Hopefully to target some sockeye and kings.I prefer to tent it.Are there any camp grounds in the area.would you needs reservations,Are there any with a boat launch.Thanks for any info,do any of the readers live in alberni to have a beer with lol.

Try either China Creek or across fdrom them is Mactush...
China does have some openings from what I've heard, and has all the things you're looking for.

If China Creek has an opening, I'd go there. We did Macktush over the 4th, and the road in is a long distance on dirt. As I understand it, the road to CC is paved at least some of the distance.
