The natives will gladly sell you some.....last I heard they were 15 bucks apiece two days ago.
The sockeye are there in the Inlet.....but they aren't hanging around waiting for sporties.
Shooting straight up the rivers
BECAUSE:- the fresh river levels are quite ample for them and the water temp is acceptable .
Lots of rain,lots of fresh water, cooler temps all equals sox going straight home.
I've heard of the odd couple caught in the last week or so by local guides who were born with a fishing rod in both hands.
But that's it.
We need warmer days, warmer water, no rain, and dropping river levels....then watch out.
