Port Alberni salmon festival

Well the salmon fest is only days away,who's going in it and where are you going to be fishing? We are heading up to Bamfield on friday afternoon and are staying in one of the atco trailers at seabeam

omg me me me! so excited! my partner has to work monday tho. I have a friend who is moored up there who isnt planning on entering. I was going to call and ask but does anyone know if I can fish out of two different boats? One on the sat sun and one on monday. omg im soo excited my first derby!!

we will most likely be entering, depending on weather. Will probably keep it somewhat local, fishing between Coulsons and the narrows

We were going to fish the big Sooke derby, which has become a small Sooke derby. Boat is in Tofino, had planned on moving it south.
Now not sure where to go/what to do.
Have to decide today though.
Reports haven't been sparkling anywhere...

Would love to make it for the gong show , lots of memories , like the one of a guy ticked off at a fellow slamer on his way out of China Creek decided to get back by loafting a 10# cannon ball into the other guys boat .... Ah the good old days lol

Well maybe on the 10th there might still be a late run for me
