Port Alberni map of fishing spots in inlet?

Headed to Alberni for this weekend and would like to fish some of the popular spots out to Barkley. Is there a map etc?, have read about alot of different spots but don't know where they are ;-) Have heard the socks have slowed down so would like to try for springs.....

Not sure if you have a map or charts. Some spots to try on the way out once you get past Nahmint are San Mateo Bay (before Aug 1) Assits Island, Rainy Bay (before Aug 1) Pill Point, Diplock, along Sanford and Fleming Islands, Swale Rock, Mears, Austin Island and Cree. All can produce at any given time. If you are fishing along the Poett Nook-Bamfield side, you can fish the entire length of the wall up to Bamfileld. This should help I hope.

There was a magazine published a little while ago called Vancouver Island Fishing.

You could get it free at some tackle shops....

It shows all the good locations in Barkley Sound and what you can expect to find there. (page 32)

stop in at gone fishing they have a foldable chart and should mark it up for you
