Port Alberni canal update_ went out with my old man today to do a little crabbing and prawning, we had just set the traps and all of a sudden we see a pod of killer whales one large male and two females, what a site watching them cruze up the canal with such easy, they went all the way to Holm island and realized all the fish were gone and headed back out to sea. What a gorgeous day to be on the water for a father-son adventure, not a ripple on the surface smooth as ice. Only one other boat on the water trolling for chum, with no luck, probably had something to do with the killer whales.[8D]
