Plugs... Lots of em

I think that for most of them the elastic band method will be my only option. 75% of them are the old tow bar style and not the newer "pin" that can be removed.

I pulled the pin on an old style flat tow bar just to see if I could. It came out easy enough. It seems to still be waterproof, and the slot is big enough to get a leader through. I haven't fished it yet. I believe some sport guys pull them from the brass ring, but go even faster.

I hear ya on that one 100% SD ;)

hahaha, what was I smokin today??? Ahhh, long day at work. My brains not functioning at 100%

Last month I sent quite a few plugs to Tomic for repainting. This is the first time I have done so.Some of the plugs were rather worn faded and scratched up. I was extremely happy with the results so happy in fact I sent off a bunch more. The plugs that were repainted came back looking pretty much like new. Some of these plugs were painted in the original pattern and some were colour changes - both looked great. I do realize that the action of a particular plug may be more important than pristine colour they sure look pretty. I cant wait to give them a try WCVI

rite on hit em, i will pass your appreciation along to the painter, that will make her day:Dholmes*

Hey Holmes
Please do and perhaps mention i have had some experience with airbrushing as I use to repair hot tubs with the "marble pattern" using an airbrush. Thanks kindly

I think that everyone and their dog has read about the pilchard "Nog Doctoring". No secret there anymore. I bet if you googled it you would find something on the subject.
