Plug Misalignment??

Hey all,

Plugs. Some fish better some fish worse. What are the opinions on plugs with an "offset" or "misaligned" shovel like the one in the picture? Will this make the plug less effective or could it add some randomness to the movements?

It doesn't matter what the alignment is really-what matters is how it runs when trolled-a plug like that I would run it across from a tried and tested plug and see what the results are. Keep track. If it doesn't catch fish-dump it

Who know's? Within reason, that bit of misalignment might just add that extra wobble that triggers the big one. Only one way to find out.

i say run it. i deliberately alter the lower lip of a plug . gives it a unique drop. plugs falls away slightly. but like SF says if it don’t work turn it into an ornament

Over the years I have found that plugs with blems in general outfish those that are "perfect".
