Pleasure craft license expiry date website

So I was looking at some pics of my old boat that I sold in 2023 and saw the license number on the bow and put it in the website just to check and It expires in April of 27. I bought and registered the boat in April of 2017. It begs me to wonder if the guy ( an HA member) who bought it has not reregistered it .

Someone missed the Money Laundering 101 class.

He didn't pay in cash (although he wanted to) I got a bank draft and to be honest at that point my lawyer said don't worry about it. he was a really nice young guy and was honest about his affiliation. I did ask that if something went wrong with the boat after I sold it if I would have to watch my back and we had a good laugh about it.

I just checked online and it says expired in May 2024. Checked paperwork on the boat and it jives with the website. No expiry notice or anything so I guess I will get that up to date.

Mine expired July 2024..... wtf .... no notification or anything.... should I renew or bother..... my registration has no such expiry date on it.

Found this while searching today. I tried to renew mine (expired 2024) and their system says my birthdate entry is wrong. I wonder how long I'll have to wait on the phone to have that fixed up.

Agreed. Maybe they hope to catch you on the water with an expired license. Got mine fixed up yesterday after bouncing around on the phone for 30 mins. The system wouldn’t accept my birthdate because apparently when Port Boathouse registered the boat they listed my wife as the primary owner. I won’t tell her that, as there might be fees involved to borrow “her” boat.
