Plastic Island

This is a pretty sad read. I have travelled to many tropical beaches and I see this amount of plastic garbage on every one. We need to go back to the days of metal, glass, and wood. When I was a kid we drank soft drinks out of a glass bottle and water from anyone's garden hose.

I always say "we are the animals". Tragic indeed. It's on very beach right there with the cigarette butts.

Very sad indeed. You expect remote beaches to be pristine, but many are far from it in both the Atlantic and Pacific.

Real sad, seen tons of flotsam at sea, other countries do not have the same way of thinking as most North Americans. When we hand out water bottles to the people on "sheep boats" they all drink and throw empty over side.

I do question the part where he cuts open a recent dead bird and all the plastics there?

How to fix something this bad?
