Pizza Oven

Well I gone and done it now...

Ordered the original dual fuel wood/propane Gozney Dome.
This model has an option to add water drip/steam and close off the entrance to bake bread in. I make homemade sourdough bread so this is gonna be sweet. This oven will do up to 16" pizzas or two smaller ones.

Pricey but I'm not getting any younger and I deserve to spoil myself as I love cooking and spend a lot of free time on my deck barbecuing, smoking foods and now I can add a nice pizza oven to the deck.

Maybe I'll sell pizzas to my neighbors to recoup the cost 😆

Congrats man, that's the one I want to get too. You will be super impressed with it. My friends bought nice cast iron pans for it as well and they do veggies and steaks and all sorts of stuff in it. Super jealous. Did you get the black Friday discount? Can I ask how much it was in the end?

Those videos are amazing. @Chasin' Dreams investing in good food is worth it. I just ordered my second Blackstone, not in the same class but a 17" one with a hood, I hope to use on the boat and will keep in the camper. Cooking with and for family is sooo worth it and I can make mediocre pizza on it too.
Right on! Portable cooking will be awesome for you guys. I very much agree; cooking for and with the family is very important and bonding.

Your recommendation of it got me researching it more and I was sold on it. Only thing I guess they could improve on would be a spinning stone but then I think maybe not cause part of the stone oven pizza baking enjoyment should be watching the pizza cook and turning it or moving it if needed. Just like they do in the pizza shops.

Yes there was a black Friday discount so it was $2100 plus tax and free shipping. I bought a bunch of accessories for it too. Love that I can do wood too. Will also be cooking all kinds of meals in it too like your friends. I have all kinds of cast iron. It's what I mainly cook with. Very excited.

I’d like to report this thread to the mods for removal as is going to superfluously impact my discretionary (fishing gear) spend and considered contrary to the intent of this forum.

I read this once and $$ wood fired pizza ovens started popping up on my marketplace feed lol.

Seriously though, we’ve been toying with homemade pizza’s this year and they are soooo good.
