Pinks in the Gorge?

I was kayaking the Gorge this morning and saw a number of small (3-5 lb) salmon jumping. Seem too small for Coho. Could they be pinks?

islandboy,

I think those might be coho heading to craigt flower creek or the creek behind tillicum mall.
Where about did you see them jump? We used to see them jump infront of the old train trestle.

Nice cutties in there too..... and chums used to spawn in the gorge... not sure if they still do?

They have been jumping from Tillicum bridge to Craigflower. Seem pretty small for Coho, could be jacks I suppose.

1/2 dozen jumping this morning. Look like pinks to me, silver back reddish streaks on the white underbelly. 3-5 lbs. Same place as yesterday.

Coho, springs & cutties, the rest may be a mirage...Portage inlet side of Shoreline school/apts offer up best view ;) by the way fishn is a no go!...ss

Wife and I saw a dead 2-pounder or so beneath the second foot-bridge in the park behind Tillicum Mall. I want to say it was a Cutty but it looked more like a Ho.
Small for a spawner I thought. Governor could set us straight on this no doubt; saw him at the fence with a net last week doing his rounds.
