Pics of kicker mounts on 17,6 Double Eagles

I just picked up a very nice aluminum pod for my 9.9 pro kicker, im not 100% sure its gonna work for my boat just yet as its getting new canvas and not with me at the moment. If this pod works out it will give my kicker a 5'' lift that is needed as its a 25'' shaft (to long for my boat i know) but i like the idea of mounting it higher out of the water and out of the way of back rolers. Now that being said if any one here has been down this same road id love to see what you did in case the pod dosnt work out for me. My boat is a 82 17,6 Double Eagle outboard model, motors are a 98 115 merc 2 stroke and a 07 9.9 merc pro kicker 4 stroke. Thanks very much.

Thanks Dan, some good ideas there for sure. The more i think about it the more i think your old pod is gonna work for me, if not youll see her back up for sale here lol. Thanks again man
