Three years ago a pair of Cooper's hawks nested in front of our neighbor's house. Their young learned to fly in our Oak trees.
The last two years they nested the next block over and the young still learned to fly in our trees.
Three times in the last week they've gone after a Great Horned owl. Apparently the GHO preys on Cooper's hawks.
