Dont know why some crew members like to personally attack other members bringing politics into the picture and missing the whole message of the thread ...I for one wish we could be focused on the nature of the thread ...maybe start your own political thread .....Just an Idea

Sorry Sir-vivor, you are the one that stepped out of line!
You showed a picture of empty boat launches and I simply asked how the NDP could stand by and watch this happen which I thought was a valid question which Rain City politely answered.
You attacked me by asking if I was a Liberal or if I worked for the DFO.
Call me anything you want but not a frickin Liberal!!!!

fisheries are regulated FEDERALLY not provincially - and raincity is correct - parties are window-dressing and a distraction

I posted my thoughts on this some time ago, had the same response. I will say if I was the PREMIER of BC no matter what party I stood for and this huge impact of no/reallocation of fish was going on, I would not be silent and sucking up. I would be standing up for the economics of a huge portion of my province and asking WTF.

I do not understand why more sporties are not out playing C&R. I posted my days catches/releases on the sooke reports some time ago and was ATTACKED for supposedly killing small Chinook. I learned, I am still participating but NOT posting. Maybe this is the reason we are not fishing??? At war with the wrong people, divided, and hurting the wrong people, marinas, stores, ect.

It's still his job to take a stand and voice an opinion supporting/fighting for the people he "represents". He has no issue taking a stand against the FEDERAL NEB despite polls showing the majority don't want what he's selling in that case. He's dead weight is the real answer.

I'm guessing sir-vivor simply was trying to share the somewhat shocking scene being repeated all over the west coast of empty marina parking lots when, typically, people would be fighting for a place to put there trucks and trailers. There are plenty of threads in the Conservation area, and a couple in the Saltwater section, to discuss the ongoing politics of the current state the public fishery finds itself in, so everyone can go there if they want to carry on that debate.
