Oyster River access

Wanted to take the kids down to the mouth of the Oyster to chuck some buzzbombs and spoons.. Does anyone know if there is public access to the mouth or do you have to park on the highway and hike in. We're going to be camping just down the road at Miracle Beach if anyone has any other beach fishing suggestions that would be much appreciated.

Cheers!

You have 3 options, park in the guest area at pacific playgrounds, and cross the oyster. Next would be is to park by the hiking trails beside the fisherman's pub. Or the third which would be my choice is to park on the street by salmon point, and walk the trails to the beach

For me it would be to park by the hiking trails and walk through the trees to the mouth of the river. Much cooler under the trees. Depending on the age of the kids the walk from Salmon Point, could get boring especially caring their gear. Bring lots of water.

Bike from Miracle to Pacific playgrounds and cross the river there leave your bikes at the river mouth the ride down Clarkson is really nice.

Really appreciate the feedback. The "kids" are 14 and 15 so they should be good to go if there's a little hiking involved.
