Outriggers

We just bought a new boat, and its coming up with outriggers on it. Im new to fishing, and am wondering if i should keep the outriggers on, or take them off..and if so, what are they approximetly worth? Thank-you

No need for outriggers on a Salmon sport boat-take 'em off they're just dead weight.

In the Pacific NW damned little maybe you could sell them on http://www.ifish.net/forum/postlist.php?Cat=&Board=UBB18 some of those guys fish Albacore off the Oregon coast and use Outriggers.
