Out walking the dog

We like to go looking for deer antler sheds. We sometimes get into these creek bottoms that appear after heavy rains. Coal loves it for sure.

I was out walking the dog and having a reasonably good time until when we stumbled on a group of what I think might have been transplanted British dogs. They're starting to take over the neighborhood ---my dog wants nothing to do with them because they behave, well, a bit different.

We just stay inside the house now and look at each other. We hope the dogs eventually will leave and go to someone else's neighborhood so we can take back the streets.

How about a fish not in a plastic bag.

This is when Rick won the ugliest fish of the day derby. These are old pictures, I'll have to go out and get a picture of a new fish. sorry extra click reqd.

Good pics. Refreshing to be reading this thread. I walk my dog and my kid in a park close by. I knew this cave was here, because I used to go into it as a kid with my friends. I decided it was time to take my kid there...

No pics of the dog though. She's a golden doodle, nice dog.

If that is the cave I think it is I practically lived in that cave as a kid. Only a short distance from my house.

Did your dog go in there? Don't get stuck lol. (you probably fit easier when you were a kid).

Ha, I figured someone would recognize it. That's my kid going in there. Once you get in, you can stand up. It's pretty cool to explore that as a kid. When my son was in there, my dog hesitated, but she ended up in there too!!

Yes that was my backyard as a kid. Would leave the house first thing in the morning and either be there or the beach, wouldn't have to be home till supper and that was the only rule my parents had "make sure your home for supper". It's to bad we can't do that today with are kids to many scumbags out there. Today we won't let your kids out of are sight.

I tell my girlfriends kids to go out and play and don't come back till dinner time but they cant find a place to plug in the x-box out there so they wont leave. Pretty sad that a kid cant find anything to do out side these days.
When i was a kid , good luck keeping me inside and if it was raining , even better . All the ditches would be full and you had even more stuff to do.
