Oregon/California Road Trip

I recently went on a road trip with my wife and our baby girl. We had lots of fun. If you haven't been down along the Oregon and California coast, I'd recommend it. Lots of beauty along that section of coast. Highlights of our trip were Oregon sand dunes camping. (thanks Finished Business for the recommendation to stay and Honeyman State Park) Lots of catchable and trophy trout in the lake in the campground.

Cape Kiwanda near Pacific City OR. another highlight. Epic sand hill climb and great micro brewery beachside.

We stayed a few days in San Francisco area and could have stayed longer. What an awesome city. Highlights there were spey casting competition in Golden Gate Park pools. 14' rods tossing lines 160' +. So cool to watch. Ocean beach surfing. Great waves there! Trolley rides through the city!

Santa Cruz has great surf and a great coastline. Enjoyed our time in and out of the water there.
