On My Walk Today

What happens when the big one comes to a stop? Did they disconnect the tender and have someone pilot it into False Creek (photo looks like they are coming in rather than going out?).

What could go wrong with 150ft of tow line in False Creek...

Just tie it alongside like the tugs do

If you don’t scuttle your 250+k tender and just buy a new one every time, are you even rich?

Big boat comes to a slow stop, tender pulled up to swim grid, someone boards and disconnects the towing bridle. Easy.

Good thing it’s not in False Creek…

This StabiCraft at Steveston Harbour Authority caught my eye today with the white and black colors. I thought it was a federal boat, but apparently it’s a proud Canadian.

Two Bridgeview 18’s on the river. Not my photos. One boat is your usual lodge build, the other pushed the transom rearward and added a swim grid style of pod plus moved the console forward. I have seen a few of these conversions over the years.
