another successful year. 1st nations sockeye open 2 fish limit Aug 1st Hat off to 1st nations and American conservation.They made it up the Columbia to respawn ??????

100 fishing boats on the lake. My buddy and his boat got t boned by a rental boat his Hewescraft is a write off no one was injured thank god!!

Not just Americas on this one, there are many full time staff working for the nation alliance in canada. they are the ones that manage this fishery, there are 13 bands on both sides of the border that are in on it.

No 100 boat on the Lake go by every Day Bub must a fishing story.

I was out there today and there were more than 100 boats on the lake. However, not all were fishing for Sockeye. I was and caught 8 in about an hour, kept my limit, looking for bigger ones so let 6 go before I was satisfied. Risky business, as I let some go that were bigger than the ones I kept. My advice, head there next week when the August Long Weekend crowds go home.

Hey ripper 12 I had about 10 friends on the lake I guess there all telling story's. you were at my house last weekend looking at my boat small world.

Small world went by twice Thursday and Friday lots of jet skies on the north end and water skiers.The issue is about fish and not boats. cheers??
