Oil Spill in English Bay

Just saw this news report about an oil sheen in English Bay around the anchored ships.

Sounds like this stuff is toxic, public being warned to stay away. I wouldn't want
to be fishing in the area and get this goo on the boat or fishing gear

Thanks for the post.. I was going out to Jericho today for some more crabbing.. I guess that's not happening now! lol

Probably not the best time to go crabbing in that area. From the overhead
picture, it looks like it is spread out over a large area.

I can already envision it now.. Pulling up the crab line and crab trap covered in sticky oil that won't come off. Yuck.
