We had a few cool/clear mornings a week ago here in Fort McMurray and they were out in full force while waiting for the bus at 4:30am. I have never seen them on the Island when I lived there but have seen some awesome shows over the years living up north..........

Looked last night but all I could see was forest fire in my backyard. Only ever seen them when moose hunting up north.

I recall seeing them once or twice here on the island,but many years ago.They were just green in color.Nothing like the
shows I saw in far north Alberta that were every color in the rainbow.Could stand outside in -20,-30 for hours and watch em. Totally mesmerizing!

Seen them a couple times here on the island. All green like fishnfnatic says. Once from
Mt. Tolmie in Vic years ago when I was up there for another reason (nudge, nudge, wink, wink) and once when swilling lucky's with a buddy at a cabin at comox lake about 10 years ago. Seen them from the Interior quite a few times when camping in the woods.
