Yeah, between that and the nuclear submarine traffic heading to Bremerton further down the strait it's a tough time to be a whale . Does Alaska oil get landed in Port Angeles?

I don't think so. the tanker traffic we see is moving product from Anacortes to someplace else. big thing right now is a ship a week of raw logs headed for the Asian market.
I do see loaded tankers headed E so it could be Puget sound as the destination. I have no way of knowing where they were bound from although, come to think of it, AIS would provide that info for anyone who wants to wait and see if they can spot a tanker headed E.

Harpo et al have already WELL Proven their sheer ignorance and Dismissal of All things related to science, nature, the environment, and yes, anything related to the Endangered Species Act (Google that if you require confirmation). There is NO WAY IN HELL they will let a single Orca, or even a pod or two stand in the way of their "vision" of "where Canada is headed"...

Ah yes, Ezra Levant. A commerce and and law graduate who knows so much about science, climate, and meteorological studies that he is able to show definitively that ALL the scientists who are members of the IPCC and ALL the scientists who submitted material considered by them are wrong...NOT!!!.
This mouthpiece for extreme conservatism continues to foster the delusion that climate change is a matter of opinion, to be debated and discussed in the general media by unqualified hacks like him. What he cannot get through his brain twisted by extreme ideology is that climate change is matter of science not opinion. And that science is in! HUGE quantities of evidence from measurements in weather, climate, ocean and lake sediment studies, ice cores, tree ring data, and the rocks themselves.
This man is a scourge to enlightenment, understanding and rational thought which is based on evidence and scientific data, and he should be ignored at all times.

Soxy, your comparison is specious and does not stand up. I challenge you to provide evidence of a publication by Suzuki that is contrary to all of the available scientific data and which denigrates the scientific community with vague denunciations of "conspiracy".
And if you think you can do that I suggest you start a new thread as it is nothing to do with this one which is about the incredible environmental foolhardiness of the Gateway pipeline and by extension its impacts on climate change.

It boggles the mind why people would invite this guy into there living rooms.
And since him and his tv channel were rejected by the CRTC in public hearings they found another way to enter the homes through command and control from the Feds. Oh and plus get a couple bucks from everyone with cable to float their failed attempt in the "market"
