Nootka Sound Accommodations

It is a very easy run and it is usually flat all the way to Rodger’s, Newton’s, and Flynn’s Cove. Esperanza Inlet is usually flat with little chop in the afternoons, until you get out past Rosa Island. Tahsis Inlet and Narrows will always be flat with very little chop in the Inlet in the afternoons, unless you have a very strong southerly blowing.

Believe it or not, the roughest waters will be if launching in the afternoon, right out of Gold River. Muchalat Inlet gets some strong westerly’s that make it pretty choppy in there, until you make the turn into Hanna Channel.

Thanks Charlie PM sent. Charlie besides Moutcha and Critters Cove where can we fuel up at?

Tahsis, Esperanza fuel dock, and Zeballos all have fuel year around. Rodger's and Newton's both if you stay there. If you stay anywhere else, you can have it brought in via 55 gal drums by the Uchuck III out of Gold River, which is actually the real reason for the Uchuck - supply remote locations. Cathy at Westview Marina can also arrange both fuel and groceries to be dropped off anywhere your heart desires, and I do mean anywhere! :)

Thanks Charlie will pass that on.
