Thanks. LOL it was fun that year last couple not so good went to early and fishing wasnt good. Next year we going to kitimat/rupert with new boat we bought so should be a good time and ill have lotsa video when i go!!!

I really do like your video Mag and I thank you for sharing. And of course there is the option of muting the sound. But if you ask me for my opinion then i'd say it would be a lot more enjoyable with some more sedated music (not Gaga either). It would probably appeal to a broader audience too. And I assume you were looking for that sort of appeal otherwise you wouldn't have posted this on a forum that is frequented by fishermen of all ages and tastes. Or you could have just posted on the heavy metal fishing board. lol Keep them coming...a muted fishing video is still hundreds of times better than a non-fishing video.

LOL thanks for your input but if you listen to first song in the video it has meaning talking about being an obsession, etc just like fishing to me more and more i do it the more and more i wanna do it!!! Last song i just kinda through in there to finish video like i said my itunes library isnt that extensive!! Not sure what kinda song i coulda through in there but a slow song is pretty boring when you are trying to show a video about excitement and exhilaration of fishing. But next time i could put some country songs or some micheal booblay or something or john cash, or elevator music for them old folks if thats exciting for them but Sorry its not for me!!! But thanks for enjoying the video im glad you did!!!

Good on ya mags teach em young and they will be your go to crew when they are older. My 5 yr old just asked to take over the fish cleaning duties last week end. Makes ya proud as a parent when they want to do something and not be told. Ya got a good young crew to help ya out and they are havin fun that's what is all about. Thanks for sharing!

Why can't anyone make fishing videos with Barry Manilow music?? Or Celine Dion?? Why all this hard rock stuff?
Seriously - enjoyed the video and your choice of music was just fine - mainly because it was your choice and obviously made you feel good - which is the most important part of the whole thing!
....but I really think it would be interesting if someone could put together a fishing video to one of Barry's big hits...

Although its not a video I remember in the late 80s early 90s there was a fellow that use to fish the Winchelseas with opera blaring from his boats very good sound system. Personally I don't like to have music playing when I am fishing.

Thanks, Yep they sure do like doing outdoors stuff i guess thats the benefit of living on a farm lotsa outdoor activities. yep it sure does make a guy proud to be parent when your kids take interest and love to do what you do!!!
Some comments, like a few in this thread, are one of the reasons we decided to build the YouFish.tv website. We have heard from quite a few members here that they are a bit gun-shy about posting videos or photos in forums like this because of the ridicule or backlash that does occur, once in awhile. On the other hand, many of you enjoy seeing these videos posted and for those of us who don't get out as often as we would like ourselves, your videos help fill a void and create the desire to try to make it happen more often. We have created a site that is interactive and easy to use but is devoid of comments. We know there are other video sites out there that are kind of popular....like that youtube thingy, but we thought it was time to have one that is just about fishing and those who enjoy it! And, sorry Magspec, no Combine videos allowed, although it did bring back a lot of memories of growing up on the prairies! 
I won't derail this thread any further and at the risk of seeming like we are self promoting, (because we are) I will start a new "official" Youfish.tv Video Thread to share what is happening on the new site. We hope you will join in and share in the fun!
